Webcam Morbidity

I hang out on webcam chat sometimes and broadcast my webcam - mostly because it's part social experiment, part boredom relief, part tease and ofcourse part earning points.

What's interesting about webcam chat is most people assume you are on webcam because you are an exhibitionist. Well... to an extent I am and to an extent I'm not.

Like most of this website (alt.com), the prevailing populace is heterosexual male and whilst personally I can't understand what the tit and pussy obsessions are - I get lots of requests for showings of them. I do what I like and sometimes I do self bondage (just coz I can)

I find self-bondage interesting for all kinds of reasons - but of course typically your average voyeur joe would say things like "It's a pity there isn't someone there to tie you up" or "pull that tighter" or "make that hurt" (yeah a bossy lot) - it's all about manipulation (a power game that I find interesting)

I started to strangle myself - and again there were people who'd say "pull tighter" etc... *smirk*

To which I asked if they'd be happy to see someone die on cam... whether they'd love to goad that sort of behaviour on... the ultimate reality TV - someone strangling themselves to death...

Some people weren't expecting that... but shouldn't you?

It always interests me how the balance of power shifts when some of that blood is on your hands.
That's the unusual thing about the internet. It makes it all a game by degrees of seperation - but perhaps someone somewhere is really a slave, is really suffering, is being raped, is dying...
.... and you sit, and you watch, and you wank...

Why do you trust that all you see is what it is when you know that consent, power-dynamics and agreement is what you cannot see?
