Arrested on suspicion of witchcraft, she was blindfolded, exorcized, shaved and pricked. She was then placed on a torture stool and a vise was tightened around her legs until she confessed. When released from the torture she recanted. She was placed back into torture but refused to confess this time. She died on the fourth day of torture.
