Portable Frame
designed and built by circe



It is important that the poles are made
of rolled iron.
Any weaker material is likely to buckle
under the weight or from movement.


By using 6' poles the structure becomes
a full size whipping frame.
A length of wood, with holes matching the pole's
diameter placed every 4" for adjustment,
has been added to seat the structure on the floor
for stability.
The hooks are replaced by adjustable fittings
as shown in the picture below.


The brass pipe fitting slides over the pole
and is fastened into place by the eyelet.
The point of the eyelet screw has been sawn off
to make better contact with the pole.
Wrist and ankle cuffs clip to the eyelets
